Feng Shui Protection for Electromagnetic Pollution

E M F energy and how it affects your life is the Hot Topic in Feng Shui today. As you know, everything in the Universe is energy. All life forms, including humans, are comprised of subtle electrical fields that affect vital functions such as growth, metabolism, health, thought, emotions and movement. At the quantum level, the human body... composed of ions, minerals and water... is a conductor of electrical energy. Billions of electrical impulses regulate the activity of every living cell affecting our human body's well being and it's ability to heal itself.

When we think of electric pollution, we typically think of radiation emitted from obvious things such as high tension power lines, electric transformers and X-Ray machines. However, invisible EMF's (Electromagnetic Fields of Energy) are often overlooked and can cause grave danger to our brain, nerve, endocrine and reproductive systems and to every related organ and bone in our body. Invisible waves include household and office items such as: radio, TV and microwave transmitters, home appliances, electric blankets, waterbeds, smoke alarms, shavers, hair dryers, refrigerators, cell phones, fluorescent lights, computers and business machines to name a few.

Scientific studies, in the last two decades, report an increase health risk associated with EM waves. The following are a few examples:

• MICROWAVE

Indigestible protein, increased cholesterol, hemoglobin problems, decreased lymphocytes and increased leukocytes causing stress, blurred vision, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, hair loss, muscle and heart problems, cancerous growths and memory loss.

• COMPUTER

Increased risk of miscarriage, drowsiness, chronic aches and pains, sleep disorders, loss of energy, increased risk of cancerous cells, strain, stress and muscle disorders associated with the eyes, holes in contact lenses, hypertension, erratic hear beat, throat and thyroid, severe headaches, dizziness and loss of memory, and decreased libido.

• CELL PHONES

Insomnia, headaches, memory loss, dizziness, nausea, difficulty concentrating, respiratory problems, sinusitis, nosebleeds, hair loss, eye problems, ringing in the ears and an increase in brain tumors and aneurisms.

From a Feng Shui and holistic approach, here are a few things you can do on your own to reduce the affects of radiation in your home and work environment. Obviously, based on the above, it would be wise to avoid microwave foods and to increase your consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Because EM waves deplete the immune system, it's also a good idea to replenish your physical body with vitamins, minerals, and exercise. I also recommend daily doses of prayer, meditation, journaling and/or yoga to help support a healthy immune system.

Also, if you cannot afford an EM protection devise, according to Kroeger and Foote, peat moss and kelp cab help to remove environmental pollution. You can add a five pound bag of peat moss with one pound of kelp in containers scattered throughout your house to absorb the fallout. Or if you prefer add a mixture of peat moss, hazel nuts and drops of Melrose oil and place next to your TV, computer and microwave. (Note that you will need to repace every 3-6 months).
